TRASHY CLOTHING X OLIVE ODYSSEY

Two Palestinian brands, Trashy Clothing and Olive Odyssey, joined forces for a collaboration that blends fashion, agriculture, and cultural storytelling into a single narrative. Far from a typical brand partnership, the project celebrates the deep relationship between land, craft, and community in Palestine.

At the heart of the collaboration is a limited edition olive oil bottle featuring certified organic early-harvest Rumi olive oil from Anza near Jenin, in Palestine. The bottle’s label carries more than just aesthetic appeal: it incorporates a hand-embroidered piece created by women artisans from the Gaza Camp in Jerash, made specially for this release. Their work adds a tactile connection to regional craft, transforming each bottle into a small archive of Palestinian artistry.

The campaign, photographed by Omar Shaa, centers on the figure of the Palestinian “Bahhar,” or sailor, a symbol of movement, migration, and the stories carried across land and sea. Through this imagery, the collaboration imagines the sailor as a bridge between worlds, echoing the olive oil’s own journey from grove to table.

Together, Trashy Clothing and Olive Odyssey weave the work of farmers, embroiderers, and contemporary designers into a single story, one shaped by labor, land, and shared memory. It’s a project that not only highlights Palestinian craft but also honors the communities sustaining it.
