Cem Cinar is a Dutch and Turkish designer based in Paris.
Following his foundation in art studies, internships at Rick Owens, and graduation in fashion design within the specialization ‘New Couture’, he landed his first job at Y/PROJECT in 2012 where he worked for 5 years, before becoming creative director at Rouge Margaux in 2017.
Currently he is in charge of the ready-to-wear for LARUICCI. Originally a jewelry line based in New York, he was appointed creative director in 2019 and launched their collections.
LARUICCI is a New York jewellery brand launched in 2009 by Lauren Ruicci. Following its success, she decided in 2019 to expand her universe into ready-to-wear in collaboration with her long-time friend Cem Cinar, who is appointed artistic director of the collections.The ready to wear line, headquartered in Paris, is an extension of the offbeat world of LARUICCI mixing codes of luxury with punk and playful inspirations.
